First Steps on the Trail

The Big Trek is officially underway! Today we completed our first 4-hour climb, gaining around +600m in elevation. A steady start, but enough to remind us that the Alps demand respect.

It felt good to finally be on the trail, moving as a group, and starting the long journey towards Gran Paradiso.
