Some projects stand out because of the impact they have on a city's skyline.
The Tower, Vauxhall is certainly one of them.
Standing at 181 metres across 52 storeys, it remains one of London's most recognisable residential towers and was one of the tallest residential buildings in the UK when completed.
It forms part of the wider St George Wharf regeneration, helping transform the Vauxhall riverside into the vibrant district we see today.
Stephenson Group was proud to have played a role in delivering the reinforced concrete frame on this landmark development.
Looking back at projects like this reminds us of the scale, ambition and engineering that goes into delivering high-rise reinforced concrete structures. While the skyline continues to evolve, it's rewarding to reflect on projects that have become lasting landmarks.
Over six decades, we've been fortunate to contribute to developments that continue to shape towns and cities across the UK, and The Tower remains one we're proud to have been involved with.
