Burns Night is held in honour on the birthday of Scotland’s most famous poet Robert Burns. Traditionally, the main event of Burns Night is when the haggis arrives to a flurry of bagpipes after which the poem ‘Address to a Haggis’ is usually recited before it’s eaten.
