The project involves constructing a concrete frame for an Emergency Care Building, which includes concrete, formwork, and reinforcement for pad foundations, retaining walls, a ground bearing slab, and six suspended floor slabs averaging 400mm in thickness. Groundworks and drainage are handled by others. The frame will provide approximately 15,500m2 of floor area, along with a 2,800m2 roof plant room. We are slipforming two 27m high cores, each with 150 linear meters of 300mm thick walls. The project requires approximately 10,000m3 of concrete with a 55% GGBS content and around 2,900 tonnes of reinforcement.
