Progress Update – Derriford’s New A&E Department, Plymouth 🚧🏥

Great to see the development at Derriford Hospital continuing to take shape, where we are helping deliver Plymouth’s new Emergency Care Building and future A&E department for Willmott Dixon
This is a project that will make a real difference to the region, and it’s been good to see strong progress continuing right across the frame over recent weeks.
Level 06 ground-bearing slab works are now complete, with Level 07 slab and structural elements also finished, including pour strip installations. The main slab at Level 08 has now been completed, while Level 09 continues progressing steadily with 7 of the 12 pours complete so far.
Alongside the frame progression, the external retaining wall waterproofing system has also been completed to specification, while decking operations continue across both Level 09 and Level 10 to keep the programme moving forward.
