After spending the day working through the extreme heat, our Yard Manager, Andrew, was back on duty at 11:30pm recovering the lifeboat following another callout.
For volunteers like Andrew, there are no set working hours. When the pager goes off, they answer the call day or night, whatever the conditions.
We’re incredibly proud to have Andrew as part of our team. His commitment, professionalism and willingness to serve the community both on and off the job are a true reflection of the values we strive for.
