Dunaskin Mill, Glasgow

A look back at our work on the Dunaskin Mill student-accommodation development with Watkin Jones — a project defined by tight boundaries, complex ground conditions and zero room for error.

As the RC frame contractor, we delivered five nine-storey blocks on a former mill site bordered by the River Kelvin, existing residential buildings and an adopted road. Our team installed a coordinated system of temporary and permanent embedded foundations and retaining walls, allowing the entire build to be constructed safely from within the site footprint.
